About Us

Guide Dogs Queensland provide independence, freedom and mobility.

At Guide Dogs Queensland, we do much more than just train Guide Dogs. Are goal is to ensure people who are blind or have low vision can continue living their lives to the fullest and enjoy the freedom we all deserve. We help Queenslanders get around their homes and communities independently and safely, as well as confidently perform daily activities that we can often take for granted. It costs at least $50,000 to breed, raise and train a Guide Dog in Australia. The generosity and compassion of the community provides us with 90% of the funding we need to help Queenslanders in need. You can support us through your donation, your time or by leaving a lasting legacy with us.
