Centacare - Pastoral Ministries

Centacare Pastoral Ministries provides various services including Hospital Chaplaincy, Prison Chaplaincy and Prison Ministry. The Apostleship of the Sea provides a Catholic Mission for Seafarers. Catholic Psychiatric Pastoral Care provides a casual welcoming facility for people suffering from a psychiatric illness. People attending can engage in a range of activities, simply rest, or chat to others. The Murri Ministry works with other Aboriginal organisations and commissions to promote physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal people in South East Queensland. SHILOH is a centre for people who are affected by or involved in HIV Aids and who are offered the opportunity to take some time out for themselves.
