Access Program - Diversity In Child Care Qld Inc

The Access program provides direct support for families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Australian South Sea Islander families to access the childcare of their choice throughout the Brisbane and Redlands Shires. Continued inclusion support is provided after access has occurred to increase the skills and confidence of child care staff to implement quality early and middle childhood practices which meet the inclusion needs of families and their children. Training resource advice and case managed support is provided. Activities supporting separated divorced farther's and provide a place for them to interact with their children. The program also assists the assessment of each clients eligibility to the Special Need Subsidy Scheme and offers referral to other support services . Access has a team of bilingual sub workers.
