About Us
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission administers the Trade Practices Act to prohibit anti-competitive conduct between virtually all businesses in Australia.
The Commission is the only national agency dealing generally with competition matters and the only agency with responsibility for enforcement of the Trade Practices Act.
The ACCC has an information line available to business and consumers to explain your rights and obligations under the legislation, and how the Commission is likely to react to particular business practices. The Commission cannot give legal advice and recommends that a solicitor is the most appropriate person from whom to seek such advice.
Quick Facts About The Region
ACCC is located in the suburb of Brisbane City, the ward of Central in the council of Brisbane, the state electorate of Mcconnel and the federal electorate of Brisbane.
