About Us

Provides a fresh start for Aboriginal & Torres Straight Islanders through employment.

Yeddung Mura (Good Pathways) Aboriginal Corporation was established to help relieve disadvantage within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding region.

By partnering with our stakeholders and other agencies, our aim is to provide ‘good pathways’ to our clients by establishing programs that provide:

  • stable and fulfilling employment opportunities

  • assistance with housing and accommodation

  • support for those recently released from correctional facilities

  • training and mentoring.

We are a registered charity (public benevolent institution) with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). We are also a registered Aboriginal Corporation with the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC).

Our guiding principle is ‘Everyone deserves another chance’. Ultimately, our aim is to bring about positive change in the lives of our clients by instilling a greater sense of purpose and value in them.

This will help bring about positive change in the community by reducing:

  • drug and alcohol abuse;

  • criminal and anti-social behaviour;

  • suicide and self-harm;

  • dependence on government assistance.
