Office for Women

Influences policy and decision making to ensure women's interests are considered; provides high level advice to the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women; administer programs, including safety for women, economic empowerment and opportunity, leadership and international engagement for women. Provides the principal focus on consultation between the women’s sector and the Government, and represents the Government at national and international forums on women’s issues, such as the United Nations.
