Children's Church

We have fun, vibrant and Christ centred programs for preschool and primary-aged children that run in conjunction with our 9.30 am Sunday Family Service during school terms.

Our Children’s Church leaders engage young people with games, craft, music, prayer, bible study and other fun filled events that help show Christ’s love for them.

Understanding the love Jesus has for children is at the heart of what we do at the Children’s Church at St John’s. We teach kids to understand Jesus’ love for us, through reading the bible, prayer and discovering how Jesus is relevant for our lives today. All our activities help reinforce the central message of Christianity, i.e. the Love of Jesus.

Throughout the year St John’s hosts a number of fun events that help engage children and their families. These include:

• Start-up Sunday

• Kids Easter Worship Service with Easter egg hunt

• Old Fashioned Sunday School Picnic with the School House Museum

• End of year Children’s Church Concert

• Christmas Eve Celebrations

• St John’s Parish Fair
