Palmerston Community Centre

Situated in Tiptree Crescent in Palmerston adjacent to the local shops and school, the centre is designed for all groups from the local community.

We seek to create and strengthen social links through shared cultural and recreational pursuits with a focus on art, music, culture, employment and training, and community activities.

The centre has two spaces available for meetings, seminars, and special events.

The function room and the meeting room, open to public hire, are perfect spots to hold your organisation’s meeting or gathering. For playgroups, the playground opens off the function room and its partly roofed pergola shelters a generous courtyard.

Tables and chairs are available in both venues along with a large shared kitchen, male, female and disabled toilets. There is ample parking adjacent to the Centre and the ACTION bus routes 56 and 956 traverse Kosciuszko Avenue, connecting Palmerston with the Gungahlin Town Centre, Civic and Belconnen bus interchanges. Regular hirers are most welcome.
