Zonta Club of Canberra Breakfast

Zonta Canberra Breakfast advocates on issues that affect women. We participate in hearings, meet with politicians and host events that raise awareness about issues affecting women.  

Our community service activities include managing a pre-loved fashions sale, an antiques appraisal day, and birthing kit packing. Fellowship and other activities occur throughout the year.   

We support women in refuges with toiletry bags and kitchen starter packs when they are re-establishing their independent lives. Our Breast Care cushion project supplies post-surgery relief cushions to women in Canberra and surrounding hospitals. 

Zonta Canberra Breakfast also empowers women and encourages them in their education and their careers. Zonta Canberra Breakfast offers awards to young women in public affairs. We provides scholarships to  a female  breast cancer researcher, and to women doctoral students in the ANU astronomy program.
