Socio-Legal Practice (SLP) Clinic
Canberra Community Law offers a clinic which provides intensive social work and legal assistance for people over 18 who have urgent housing, disability discrimination and Centrelink problems, a high level of vulnerability and no support.
The clinic operates from our office at Turner on Monday and Tuesday mornings and is staffed by a lawyer and social worker. The SLP offers 12 weeks of intensive early intervention legal and social work assistance and aims to provide enough support to enable a person to get on top of their problem/s.
