About Us

Certificate II in General Education for Adults (22473VIC)

The Certificate II in General Education for Adults is an alternative to Year 10 and will help improve your literacy, numeracy, communication and computer skills and also build your confidence. It can be completed in one semester but the study period is flexible.

The learning environment offers face-to-face day classes for students over 16 years of age or flexible online learning for adults with tutorial support.

Graduates have gone on to:

  • Enrol in Year 11/12
  • Find employment
  • Start an apprenticeship
  • Study a certificate III or IV

The ACT Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12)

The CIT Year 12 program is designed so you can:

  • complete a full ACT Senior Secondary Certificate to achieve your goals or study only the subjects you need
  • transfer points from previous school to complete your study package
  • include vocational courses as part of your ACT Senior Secondary Certificate
  • learn in an adult environment with skilled educators and vocational professionals
  • access career advice, student counselling and academic support
  • study during the day or in the evening in face to face or flexible classes
