About Us

The Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF) is a young charity with a big vision: to eliminate cervical cancer.

We work hard to achieve this huge goal by

  • Raising awareness of cervical cancer and it's prevention through Cervical Cancer Awareness programs in both high schools and community groups. CCAPS is a free presentation which takes students, teachers and parents through what HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) and why school children are being vaccinated against it and how it works. The program provides potentially life-saving information about cervical cancer and other HPV - related cancers and the best method for prevention.
  • Providing support to women and their families living with cervical cancer as well as to women and their families who have received an abnormal pap test result.
  • Enabling vaccination, screening and treatment for women in developing countries where the rate of cervical cancer related deaths is 20 times higher than those in western countries. ACCF currently works in Nepal, Bhutan, Kiribati, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and Solomon Islands.
