Canberra Afterhours Locum Medical Service (CALMS)

Call centre staffed by Registered Nurses where appointments can be made and prioritised as required. Appointments available with a Locum doctor at designated surgeries from 8pm weeknights and 10am weekends and public holidays. Attendance by a doctor at private residences arranged on clinical need. Consultation notes forwarded to patients' usual Doctor with consent, encouraging continuity of care. Clinics located Northside, Southside and Tuggeranong. Phone for appointment.

Open: At weekday- The clinics are open at the Canberra and Calvary hospitals from 8pm to approximately 11pm

At Weekends and Public Holidays-The clinics are open at the Canberra and Calvary hositals from 10am to approximately 11pm. The Tuggeranong clinic opens in the afternoon.
