About Us
‘Discoveries’ is an invitation to women who have been sexually abused in childhood, and the therapists working with them, to consider how group work can assist them to challenge dominant social, cultural and personal stories about the effects of child sexual abuse.
The act of coming together in groups to confront society’s myths and assumptions is in itself a powerful form of resistance to discourses that try to convince women that being sexually abused is a life sentence.
This is a closed group running over the course of 8 weeks.
Please contact CRCC on (02) 6247 2525 to register your interest.
A pre-group interview is required.
