We Ride Australia

We Ride Australia is the peak national advocacy foundation supporting and advocating for better bicycling in Australia for everyone who wants to ride a bike.

Our vision at We Ride Australia is to make riding a bike a positive, healthy and safe reality for children, adults and seniors everywhere.

Our Mission

We do this by:

• securing the infrastructure and programs to ensure cycling contributes to healthy, safe and enjoyable mobility for all,
• disseminating evidence and data to support the role of cycling in community and national agendas,
• building the case for investment in infrastructure, and
• presenting the positive, healthy and safe reality of daily cycling across the country by children, adults and seniors from all walks of life.

Our values

We are an independent voice committed to open, transparent and inclusive collaboration founded on 20 years of working with decision makers, governments and like-minded organisations.

Our programs

We advocate for cycling through our annual Australian Bicycle Summit, Cycling Luminaries Awards, Parliamentary Friendship Groups, CWANZ and International Study Tours. We are developing Safe Routes to School, a program aimed at working with schools providing technology, education and training to increase the number of children choosing active travel as an option for get to and from school safely.
