About Us

Social and religious community based organisation providing a multicultural environment for those interested in Islam or Muslim religion and its practice. Members come from over 70 countries and speak over 40 languages. Provides a forum for social, educational and religious interaction by conducting classes and hosting lectures given by distinguished guest speakers to which all Muslim and non-Muslim community members are welcome. Houses the Australian National Islamic Library. Meets 6:30pm, second Saturday of the month and 1:15pm every Friday for prayer services. Holds daily morning and evening prayers. During the month of Ramadhan, an Iftar and dinner is held every Saturday evening. All events are open to the general public. Provides family religious counselling.
