About Us

Provides transport to older persons and people with a disability who live independently within the community, with or without the support of carers. This service includes individual transport and groups, including social outings and shopping trips.

This service is available Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm and costs $4 each way (in case of extreme hardship this fee may be waived). Bookings must be made four days prior to travel.

To be eligible you must:

  • Live in Chifley, Curtin, Deakin, Farrer, Garran, Hughes, Isaacs, Lyons, Mawson, O'Malley, Pearce, Phillip, Torrens or Yarralumla
  • Be aged over 65 years or over 50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
  • Require low level, basic service
  • Not be receiving support through the National Disability Insurance Scheme or an aged care package.
