Food Vans and Kitchens
About Us
The Harvest Garden and Kitchen grow fresh fruit and vegetables for our local community and create affordable healthy meals.
Food doesn't get much fresher than this—it's grown right here in our own garden.
The Harvest Garden was established in 2016. It's our way of ensuring that families who are experiencing financial hardship have access to affordable fresh fruit and vegetables.
The Harvest Kitchen began operating at the beginning of 2018. Fresh produce from the garden is combined with low cost or rescued food from the food pantry to create healthy low cost meals.
How do I access the Harvest Garden and Kitchen service?
Harvest Kitchen meals are available in the food pantry during normal hours of operation.
A harvest shop or swap stall operates on Tuesdays from 10 am – 12 noon and 1–3 pm during the peak harvest season of February and March.
