About Us

GP Services

Our friendly GPs see patients based on a walk in system. However, Dr Emin, Dr Ogut, Dr Haque, Dr Ong and Dr Bandara see their patients by appointment systems. Appointments can be made by calling our practice or online on our website.

For after hours services, please phone GP After Hour Sydney Medical Services on (02)8724 6300 or for emergency, please call 000 or you can attend the local Blacktown hospital.

 

All consultations are bulk billed with a valid medicare card. Please present your medicare card and concession card to reception staffs upon arrival. The practice charges $70.00 private fee for non-Medicare patients.

Please note : Cash and EFT payments are accepted at the practice.

 

Results of Investigations

Patients are required to make follow-up visits for results of investigations (pathology, xray's and other tests).

We are committed to duty of care and unable to provide results to you over the telephone.

 

Prescription, lost referral/ request form or repeat referral

Please come into the practice to see your doctor for prescription or request for any lost or repeat or change in referral details, medical certificates, request forms, referrals to other specialists and allied health.

 

Phone Consultations

Health queries are best dealt through consultation. However, our doctors are able to provide telephone consultations for non-urgent consults or patients with difficulty attending face to face consults.

 

Recall and Reminder System

We may issue you with a recall letter or a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services and urgent test results.

Speech Pathologist

June Lin

June provides assessment and intervention services to children (aged 3 to 12 years old) and adults (aged 18+) who have difficulties related to speech, language, fluency, swallowing and multi-modal communication.  She sees patients under private and NDIS billings.

June's services is weekly on Tuesday at Main St Family medical Centre. All patients wish to see June must have a valid referral.

Alfred DeRobillard

Alfred de Robillard is passionate about making contribution to the emotional well being of mental health of people. He uses a patient centred approach and works collaboratively with his patients. His current focus is dealing with adults and adolescents who experience anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, work place injuries including bullying and harassment and chronic pain. He is a warm and empathic therapist who is eclectic in his therapeutical approach and provides individually tailored evidence based interventions. He employs the following techniques in his treatment approach: Cognitive Behavioual therapy, Accceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Narrative therapy and Positive psychology.

Cardiologist

Dr Sarat Cheruvu

Dr Sarat Cheruvu is an Australian-trained Cardiologist with special interests in advanced cardiac imaging, hereditary cardiomyopathies, peri-operative cardiac risk and the assessment of acute chest pain syndromes.   Dr Cheruvu graduated from the University of NSW with both academic and research honours, completing his thesis in the physiology of the renin-angiotensin system. He completing his physician’s training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney; following which he completed his advanced training in Cardiology in the Central Coast/Royal North Shore Network. He subsequently completed a post graduate fellowship at the prestigious Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre in St Vincent’s Hospital focusing on cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and transesophageal echocardiography. Dr Cheruvu has a strong commitment to teaching having founded educational colleges to help students gain entrance to medicine as well as pass the physician’s training exam. He has previously worked as an associate lecturer for both University of NSW and Western Sydney University. As a general cardiologist, Dr Cheruvu sees patients with a wide range of cardiac diseases including ischaemic heart disease, arrythmias and heart failure with specific expertise in the application of advanced cardiac imaging for the assessment of cardiovascular disease.      

Renal Physician

Dr Sanjeeva Herath

Dr Herath is a trilingual nephrologist with a deep understanding of general medicine, basic science research and clinical audits. He completed an acute kidney injury (AKI) fellowship and a temporary staff specialist role in nephrology at Prince of Wales hospital where he started a AKI clinic and completed multiple AKI audits that are in the process of being published. He has completed 3.5 years of PhD work in basic science research at a laboratory with pre and post-doctoral staff. Ongoing PhD work has resulted in a review article and original research publications in the areas of genomics and renal ischaemia reperfusion injury. Ongoing commitments towards undergraduate teaching at university of New South Wales and university of Notre Dame, postgraduate teaching to interns at Prince of Wales hospital, Randwick.

Geriatrician and General Physician

Dr Amit Gupta

Dr Gupta is an Australian based health professional. He is trained as a Geriatrician (Aged Care specialist). He has special interest in the assessment of cognition and dementia, assessment of fall risks, parkinson's disease, depressive disorders in the elderly, chronic medical conditions including cardiovascular disease and other neurological problems. Dr Gupta speaks English, Bengali and Malay.

Gastroenterologist

Dr Guang Chen

Dr Guang is a bilingual (Chinese) gastroenterologist and hepatologist servicing Western Sydney. He graduated from UNSW Medical School before undertaking post-graduate specialist training in gastroenterology and addiction medicine.

Dr Guang has interest in liver disease but manages all aspects of gastroenterology. He is accredited to perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. 

Paediatrician

Dr Mary Iskander

Dr Mary graduated from UNSW and completed paediatric training at the Children;s Hospital in Westmead. She specialises in attention deficit, Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorders with specific language disorders.. She has extensive experience managing childhood illnesses and behavioural disorders.

Consultant Paediatrician

Dr Rita Nyanga

Dr Rita is a qualified specialist general paediatrician with an interest in Neonates and Acute Paediatrics. Dr Rita graduated from the University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka, Zambia.

Vascular Surgeon

Dr Hansoo Lee

Dr H Lee is a vascular and endovascular surgeon. He completed his Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at UNSW. Gained his Master of Surgery degree from USyd. In the past years Dr Lee has worked at the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, England. 

Dr H Lee is joining the practice in Oct 2022.

Sleep Study Services

The Sleep Study Services provide service to patients with sleeping problems or insomnia. A private fee of $ 50.00 is charged for the service. Please make inquiries with the receptionists if you need to make a booking.

Pathology Services

Douglas Hanly Moir Pathology offers the highest standards of techincal excellence, rapid turnaround of pathology results and cover extensive range of in-house testings. Our friendly and experienced pathology staffs are located at the back of the practice near the treatment room.
