About Us

Start in Saint Mary Mackillop Reserve, join the tree lined shaded path and follow the river east for 1.25 km’s staying south of the river at all times. Turn around just before the unsealed path and head back to Saint Mary Mackillop Reserve the way you came. Another turn around near the start/finish and repeat the same out and back you’ve just completed before heading down the finishing funnel off the path at Saint Mary Mackillop Reserve to the finish line. Facilities The closes public toilets are on Broughton St next to Canterbury train station. There is a children’s play area located in Saint Mary Mackillop Reserve. Getting There Location of startThe run starts in Saint Mary Mackillop Reserve. Getting there by public transportCanterbury train station is a 5 minute walk up Canterbury Rd. Bus routes 444,445,487 and 491 all stop at Saint Mary Mackillop Reserve. Getting there on foot Getting there by roadFrom the City or East: Travel along Parramatta Rd, turn left onto Old Canterbury Rd, follow this as it turns into Canterbury Rd, turn left into Berna St. From the West: Take the M4, travel along Parramatta Rd, turn left onto Tebbutt St, follow signs to Old Canterbury Rd turning left and travelling over a bridge to the other side of Parramatta Rd. Continue on Old Canterbury Rd as it turns into Canterbury Rd.Turn left into Berna St. From South West: Take the M5, exit at Bexley Rd, head north on Bexley Rd to Canterbury Rd, turn right onto Canterbury Rd, turn right onto Berna St. Free parking on Berna St next to Sain Mary Mackillop Reserve.
