About Us
The C.ex Coffs Sports, Touring & Classic Car Club is an Intra Club of the C.ex Coffs club, located in Vernon Street Coffs Harbour
Membership and Cars
Currently, we have in excess of 75 members and welcome new members to our club, regardless of the type or age of vehicle they may own. In fact, you do not have to own a "special interest" vehicle to join and participate.
Objectives of Our Club
The objectives of our club are to promote, foster and encourage the understanding, restoration and use of sports, touring and classic cars for the benefit of our members. We achieve this by conducting activities such as car runs, display days, workshops and social functions such as dinners and barbeques. We also associate with other clubs, bodies and organisations which may assist in the advancement of these objectives.
Please note that due to insurance issues we are unable to assist with requests to provide cars for weddings, school formals etc.
Club Meetings
Prior to Covid-19 restrictions, the Club held a General Meeting each month and the August meeting was preceded by the AGM.
Ten (10) General Meetings were held on the first Monday of each month at C.ex Coffs at 7.30pm, except for October when the meeting was held on the first Tuesday of the month, due to the public holiday.
Two (2) other General Meetings were then held, one at C.ex Urunga (usually in June) and one at C.ex Woolgoolga (usually in
November). These meetings were held on a Sunday morning with a car display and followed by a luncheon.
Until further notice, meetings will be held at at a time and place which ensures we conform with Covid-19 regulations and also allows members the best possible opportunity to attend. Such meetings will be advised to the membership in advance by email.
