About Us
Coffs Coast Community College Inc is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation delivering Nationally Recognised Training and leisure programmes to residents of the Coffs Harbour region in NSW since 1995. Hosted by the College, Coffs Coast Alesco School provides secondary education to students in Years 9 and 10 who require specialised assistance in a safe and inclusive environment.
We offer a range of accredited vocational education and training (VET) qualifications and modules in areas such as:
- Individual Support (specialising in Aged Care, Disability, Lifestyle and Leisure)
- Community Services
- First Aid
- Foundation Skills
- Business
- Information, Digital Media, and Technology
- Hospitality
The College has its own dedicated aged care clinical skills room, which enables more comprehensive skills training, especially in manual handling. This improves students’ work readiness and the quality of their work experience overall. Our graduates are well regarded and a high proportion of our aged care graduates gain employment during or after their work placement. The College also provides disabled access, casual room hire and small conference facilities and is centrally located upstairs at City Square, opposite Coffs Central (entrance to the College is next door to Specsavers). We also have Charitable and Deductible Gift Recipient status. The College is part of a much larger network of Community Colleges across NSW and Victoria, and through such collaboration, has access to a more extensive and diverse range of additional vocational and accredited training programmes, other skills and resources. This usually means our training can be more flexible, more responsive and often operate with smaller class sizes than larger training providers. Coffs Coast Community College is proudly supported by the NSW government and can offer fee assistance under our government funding initiatives.
