About Us
Groundworks Youth and Family Hub is a friendly space where young people can drop in, find out useful information, meet other young people and learn new skills. Groundworks runs a range of activities for young people aged between 12 and 24.
Groundworks activities include:
- 'Be Young & Proud (BYP)' support groups for people who identify as LGBTQIA+
- Life skills programs, such as 'Rent It Keep It'
- Youth Week, BU Festival and Youth of the Year Awards
- Various events for young people
- Local youth interagency coordination
- Provision of facilities such as internet, telephones and printing, as well as items such as toiletries and food.
