About Us
A volunteer non-profit organisation for boys/girls 8 years and over interested in aviation. We teach ALL about aviation from "What is an aeroplane" to pilot license if that is the goal. Our aim is to instill the spirit of air mindedness in the youth of Australian, to foster better citizenship, leadership & self reliance in the youth of the nation. The courses include many "ground" career paths. Our courses (to name a few) include:
Aero Engines, Aircraft Construction, Air Radio, Air Navigation,ILS (Instrument Landing Systems)Electronics, Administration, Photography, Modelling, Theory of Flight, Space Flight etc. All courses are broken down to easy sections so that even the youngest can assimilate the information. For example Aero Engines is as 4, 3, 2, 1. By the time a student cover Section 1 he/she will know all about engines whether aero, car, truck or motor mower 2-Stroke. We occasionally take the cadets for joy flights and also gliding with occasional trips to places like "Fighter World " at RAAF base Williamtown.
