Kempsey Local Aboriginal Land Council

Kempsey Local Aboriginal Land Council has been operating since 1983 under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act. KLALC is located in the Traditional homelands of the Dunghutti Nation as well as in the Local Government area of Kempsey Shire Council. KLALC has a Board that is elected from our Membership. The Board meet on a regular basis to discuss and review relevant issues and develop strategies to address them. KLALC has the following portfolios which have been established by the Board: * Culture & Heritage * Social Housing * Economic Development * Partnerships & Projects * Finance & Compliance KLALC are involved in a range of projects and programs for the community that fit within a portfolio.
