The Barefoot Tribe (Women's Social Group)

I moved to Coffs in early 2019 and was struggling to make new friends - I just figured that was a part of adulthood and I'd just be lonely forever. That was until I went on a wine tour and met a large group of elderly ladies living their best lives. This group of ladies is better known as the GO girls.

I searched online to see if there were any younger social groups in the area that I could join. Nope ?? Well, I might as well start my own! I didn't expect it to take off quite so quickly. Our first meetup had a whopping 20+ girls! And we haven't stopped growing. We are now almost at 300 women from all walks of life all looking for the same thing - community and friendship. 

We try to organise some form of activity / meetup once a fortnight, and alternate between both free and paid events.
Some examples of the activities we do include:

• Wine and cheese luncheons
• Camping
• Games Nights
• Themed dinner nights
• Movie nights
• Weekend getaways
• Snorkelling
• Arts & Crafts workshops
• Local Volunteering
• Kayaking
• Fitness classes etc.

This is a safe space with no drama, judgement, or worries. Just a group of girls having fun!
