parkrun - Callaghan

The course starts at corner of SAS (Birabahn) building, run around Oval No. 4 via trail section and foot-path behind Commonwealth Bank, turn right to Ring Rd at Design Building Bus stop, continue on Ring Rd footpath, turn right at Mathematics Bus stop and run straight towards Shortland building (US), turn right at the end of Isabella Restaurant building, cross the zebra-crossing, turn left at corner of Shortland building (Bakery shop), cross Union Lane and turn right to footbridge towards Engineering faculty, turn left at the end of the bridge and run north-west towards corner of ES, turn left towards hanging bridge, turn right just before the bridge to go to Don Morris Walk, continue Don Morris, run between the pond and the watch house, continue up-hill toward Engineering Close, run to the end of Engineering Close and turn left on Ring Rd towards the Forum round-about, turn around right before round-about and run back the same route to the finish line in front of SAS (birabahn) building. Facilities Toilet, free car park, bubbler. Child minding is also available at the Forum which is only 1 km away from the start. Getting There Location of startThe run starts at corner of SAS (Birabahn) building. Getting there by public transportThere is a bus stop right at the corner of SAS building. If you catch train, you should get off at the Warabrook (University) station, but it’s about a 1 km away from the start line. Getting there on footIt’s very convenient for the students and staff who live on the campus to walk to the SAS (Birabahn) building. The residential units are about 500m from the start line. Getting there by roadThere is free parking on campus all weekend. University carparks P6 and P2 are the best carparks to use for Callaghan parkrun.
