Sunnyfield Disability Services

For over 64 years Sunnyfield has provided trusted, flexible support services across the ACT and NSW, in regional and metropolitan areas, for people with intellectual disability from early childhood through adulthood. Sunnyfield’s philosophy of person centred active support places clients at the centre, supporting and developing skills for life that facilitate greater opportunities. The focus is on learning about and acting upon the choices a client wants to make, then supporting the person to be actively engaged in their life choice and develop their unique skills, interests and abilities.

Sunnyfield provides shared living services in the ACT, striving to create opportunities for people with disability to live their life in a way that is the same as we all expect. Sunnyfield shared living services provides a safe and supportive home environment in community based group homes, for people with a varied range of needs and preferences. Shared Living services staff encourage independence through the application of person centred active support, so that people with disability make choices in their everyday life and participate in the day-to-day activities of their home and in the community.
