About Us

St John is a self-funding charitable organisation, dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger. St John is Australia's leading provider of first aid training and first aid services at public events. St John also provides a range of community services and youth programs. The Queanbeyan Division is the local first aid privider for the Queanbeyan Palerang Council area.

Whether you want to give back to the community or have an interest in healthcare, there are many reasons why people volunteer. Whatever your reason, volunteering with St John will be a rewarding experience.

The Queanbeyan Combined Division are a small group of dedicated adults and cadets who provide first aid and health services at a wide range of community events and activities for the Queanbeyan-Palerang Council area. We meet each Wednesday night at the Letchworth Community Centre 28 Miller St Queanbeyan West - from 7pm to 9pm.

To volunteer with St John you need to hold a current Apply First Aid certificate, be able to volunteer on average 1.5 hours/week and be willing to learn and undertake regular training and re-certification.
