Private Health Insurance Ombudsman

The Private Health Insurance Ombudsman has been set up to deal with enquiries and complaints about any aspect of private health insurance. The Ombudsman provides general information about health insurance, helps people resolve problems they may have with their health insurance and provides brochures about private health insurance. The Ombudsman provides investigations into the fees and charges of all health funds and hospitals. The Ombudsman is independent of the private health funds, private and public hospitals and the Government.
