About Us

The Bugalwena Service is a Partnership in Health between the Tweed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community and the North Coast Area Health Service. The service provides crisis counselling, face to face counselling, listening, counselling resourcing and advocacy and referrals. Issues covered include child and adult sexual assault, domestic and family violence, drug and alcohol dependency, mental health problems, cultural and spiritual issues, health problems and grief and loss. Counselling and support is also available for financial, legal and custody matters.
