About Us
The Driving and Licensing Offences Project provides a coordinated assessment, referral, information and support service for Aboriginal people attending court with driving and licence offences. The aim is address the high numbers of Aboriginal people coming in to contact with the justice system for driving and licensing offences. Aboriginal Client and Community Support Officers complete a voluntary assessment identifying gaps in service provision, possible diversionary programs options and as well as other barriers to safe and legal driving.
