Our work allows children to gain mobility and freedom, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase self-esteem, and where possible, assistance to help them integrate into mainstream school and activities.

Ways we help

 Mobility

Variety helps children gain independence and freedom by providing financial support for things like wheelchairs, walking frames, hoists and vehicle modifications.

 Medical

Variety helps families care for children with a medical condition in their own home by providing vital medical items and equipment like feeds, nappies, orthotics, seizure alarms and sensory equipment.

 Schools and organisations

Variety helps schools and organisations with things like all-ability playgrounds, Liberty swings (modified for special needs), and sunshine coaches for transporting children, which can be wheelchair modified.
