Jambin State School

Jambin State School was opened on 11 February, 1929 by Kate Collins, the first Principal. Sixteen children attended this first day. The school began as a high-set two room building with a half enclosed veranda for keeping bags out of the weather. The area underneath was used as a classroom as numbers grew.
