About Us

PCYC is one of Queensland’s largest providers of recreational facilities and activities for young people. PCYC offers a wide variety of affordable high quality activities for all members of the community and provides a unique link between the Queensland Police Service and the community. PCYC is a registered charity and are largely self-funded. Programs and activities include: Youth Management Teams, Youth Art and culture projects, Outside School Care for Vacation Care and After School Care. PCYC has a comprehensive air-cooled Bodyshop Fitness Centre. Other activities include: Tai Chi, Badminton, Karate (Shotokan), Ju Jitisu (Gendai Shinka), Pilates,Boxing and Basketball. Bingo sessions are held regularly on Sundays between 2 – 4 p.m., with other projects conducted from time to time to cater for the needs of the community. Tumblebugs are held every Wednesday morning with Gymnastics on Thursday afternoons. Latin & Hip Hop dance classes with Vibranto every 2nd Sunday.
