Local Advocacy Services
Joe Kelly knows that access to high quality health care and education is fundamental to building a strong community. He has seen first hand the devastating impact that Newman’s savage cuts has had on the quality of our health system. For over 25 years Joe has worked as a nurse and is a strong advocate for preventive health programs.
Joe understands the pressures that face families. As a father of two young children he knows what it is like to deal with the increasing cost of living and cuts to essential services. Joe Kelly knows privatising essential assets, like power stations, will only increase the cost of living not reduce it. Joe believes we need to build a strong and carefully managed economy that benefits all Queenslanders.
Joe has lived in the Greenslopes area for over 17 years and is a passionate advocate for his local community. He is active in several community groups including P&Cs, disability services and local environment groups. He has seen the impact of the LNP cuts and is committed to being the strong local voice needed to re-build our community. Joe Kelly supports improved public transport options, better access to social services, and better funding for local community and health groups.
