About Us
Councelling - We offer assistance that is respectful and sensitive to the needs of all individuals regardless of age, gender, financial status, cultural or religious background. We provide counselling services for:

Marriage and Relationship - Our family and relationship education services are aimed at assisting couples and families in their relationships. Trained facilitators support couples to explore and discuss with each other their relationship strengths and differences in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.
Domestic and Family Violence -
We have a range of domestic and family violence services available to women, men and children. Our support and prevention programs include:

- women’s support groups

- information, referral and support for women

- training and community education
- assisted referrals to other services

Family Dispute Resolution - Family Dispute Resolution is a process that assists people experiencing relationship difficulties to resolve their disputes during or after separation or divorce. Family Dispute Resolution is also known as mediation.
Community Programs - Our community services aim to support individuals and groups to build community capacity and strong relationships with family, friends and community.

For more than 50 years, we’ve been providing support services to the people of South East Queensland. Whilst we are a Catholic agency, we provide these services to the entire community, regardless of religion, circumstance, ethnicity, economic situation, age, gender or ability. You will find Centacare services in every corner of South East Queensland. With a workforce of more than 3000, including our invaluable volunteers, and operating from more than 200 locations, we provide help and create hope for more than 150 000 people each year. With funding from both the Federal and Queensland governments, we are able to provide quality services to those in need of a range of services including childcare, support services for the aged and people with a disability as well as relationship education, counselling and support. We are grateful to our army of volunteers and donors who enable our non-government funded work in prisons, hospitals, psychiatric pastoral care and Indigenous communities.
