About Us

Brisbane North Referral for Active Intervention (RAI) Service is an intensive family support service for families with children between 0-18 years old. The service is available for families who live in the Brisbane North area.

 

Families are referred to the RAI service by the Department of Child Safety, Department of Education & Department of Health.

 

Participation in the RAI service is voluntary for families referred.

RAI staff work with families and children for up to six months, supporting them to set and achieve personal goals.

Our qualified and experienced staff emply a strengths based, child centred, family focussed approach. We provide a broad range of flexible, tailored and integrated services. Our aim is to assist families to manage their current issues effectively and equip them with knowledge and skills to prevent problems from reoccuring.
 
The RAI Service is part of the Mission Australia Community Services Queensland Division, and is funded by the Department of Communities under the Early Years Strategy.
