Information For Members

The Ashgrove District RSL Sub-Branch was founded February 29, 1932 by Colonel John Macdonald Grant MC VD.

The Bardon RSL Sub-Branch Inc was formed on 19 August 1949, with its current RSL Charter awarded on 19 August 2001.

Ashgrove Bardon RSL Sub Branch meets at the Red Hill Community Sports Club which is located at 22 Fulcher Rd, RED HILL.  Meetings are held on the last Sunday of each month commencing at 11am. There is no meeting held in December.

Pensions and Advocacy support is available through the RSL SED Pensions and Advocacy Office at Greenslopes Private Hospital on 07 3394 7235 or 07 3394 7077 during normal business hours.  Our Welfare Officer is Greg Butterfield.  He can be contacted on 3355 4655.

Welfare events are organised throughout the year based on Member, Citizens Auxiliary and War Widow input.  Please contact us to let us know about your upcoming event so that our members can be included.

Social activities are organised throughout the year.  A Citizens Auxiliary was formed in 2010 so that family and community members, along with businesses, could become involved in the Sub Branch activities.
