Settlement Engagement Transition Support Service

SETS provides support and assistance to people that have moved to Australia in the last 5 years including migrants and refugees on specific visa types. Our aim is to help our clients find more independence and settle into their new community helping address and overcome presented barriers. We work with individuals families and community groups.

Our support is flexible and holistic, working with clients in their home and in the community to best address their settlement needs. Our support can include: 

• Connecting clients with suitable support and services to help achieve their settlement goals;

• Help them build relationships within the community; and 

• Assist and guide clients with housing, employment and other common settlement barriers. 

We have access to translating and interpreting services to support our engagement with clients who speak languages other than English. The Accoras SETS team is closely connected to the community and also delivers the BRiTA Futures program at selected TAFE campuses. Learn about BRiTA Futures here.
