About Us

Creative Arts Therapy is a form of Psychotherapy that uses paints, clay, pastels, collage, movement and sound as primary modes of communication.  The therapeutic use of creative expression and art is suitable for people of all ages and populations.  Heartspace Artspace primarily works with adults ( 18 yrs and over).  Significantly Creative arts therapy is  particularly helpful for those who find it difficult to articulate with words their stories and issues.  This includes the following categories of life experiences but not limited to: Trauma and Abuse survivors, Depression and Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Relationship and Family issues.  Participating in creative expression can improve and enhance physical, mental and emotional health and well being.
