Allied Health Unit

UnitingCare offers an Allied Health Unit which is a leading provider of contemporary therapy services for children and adults with disabilities. We focus on supporting people with a disability to live meaningful and inclusive lives. Services are delivered in the context of a holistic model and enable individuals and their families to maximise the opportunities of the NDIS and other funding.

Establishing relationship and understanding the goals they want to achieve drives our service delivery. We aim to build capacity of the people we serve, their families, other informal and formal supports, and their broader community.

Our Allied Health team is a mobile service and can travel to your home or other environments in which you feel comfortable. Anyone can access our services.

The practitioners provide technical expertise in a broad range of specialty areas, including (but not limited to)-

• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Sensory Processing
• Home Modifications
• Behaviour Management
• Assistive Technology (AT)
