About Us

IWC is a community based service provider, leading employer, registered training organisation and provider of holistic health care and community services to  vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the Wide Bay Region with services extending beyond these boundaries, as far as Longreach, Queensland. Bundaberg is the central hub of the region, servicing rural and remote catchments. The IWC is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all.

Operating since 2002, the IWC provides a range of preventative, primary health and community care services, including a Bundaberg Dental Clinic and Bundaberg Bulk Billing Medical Practice. The IWC Bundaberg Medical Centre and Bundaberg Dental Practice is open to all with particular focus on the vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals within our community.

With higher than average rates of diseases such as diabetes and asthma prevalent in the local populations, IWC has long championed an affordable and holistic approach to service delivery to assist clients to better manage these conditions. Patients of IWC benefit from a range of multi-disciplinary services including Bundaberg General Practitioners (GP), Bundaberg Dentists and Dental Hygienists, Bundaberg Psychologists, Diabetes Education, Allied Health services and referrals to visiting medical Specialists. Our friendly staff are highly trained to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our patients. Same day appointments are available with our Bundaberg GP’s and courtesy transport is available to and from all appointments at IWC.

IWC services are continuing to grow with an increasing number of people seizing the opportunity for affordable care.
