About Us

Qld Wildlife Carers & Volunteers Assoc Inc is a registered charity based in Bundaberg but has members located over a wide area, stretching as far as Agnes Water in the North, to Childers in the south and inland to Gin Gin and all surrounding areas.

Wildlife carers are all volunteers who receive no government funding and pay for all costs such as food, cages, veterinary fees and fuel for rescues.  Donations of cages are always gratefully received.   If you would like details on how to become a wildlife rescuer/carer please call Christine  07 4159 6431.

Please contact if you would like to assist in other ways such as breeding mealworms or crickets or transporting animals to and from vets (no fees involved) or carers.
