About Us

Established in 1986, The Bundaberg Disability Resource Centre Incorporating the Toy Library supports children with special needs. The organisation was originally established by parents of children with special needs to provide a lending service of suitable resources. As a lending library, access is provided to 2,800 resources including:  developmentally appropriate toys, educational resources and adapted equipment. The service supports the needs of general public and families with a child with a disability, whilst extending the service to: Foster carers, Schools, Special education programs, Community organisations, Therapists and Child care services. The resource centre operates in a geographical area aligned with the boundaries of the Bundaberg Regional Council.
