BACKUP - Client daily living support - Bundaberg

Support for people with mental health concerns to settle back home and into the community. Backup is a consumer-driven crisis support service available to persons with a mental health concern. We provide immediate assistance with settling the client back into the home and community and with ongoing support to manage the recovery journey. (No wait-lists). We also support family members, children and carers by providing leisure time-out and coping strategies. Trained volunteers provide weekly support visits. People diagnosed with mental health illness. Referrals are generally via Mental Health Unit for exiting consumers, and must have a management plan in place ( this done by MH). Referrals are via Bundaberg Integrated Mental Health Unit and GP's.
