Wide Bay Social Work Services is NDIS Registered for Therapeutic Supports.  We also provide Support Coordination for Plan and Self Managed Participants.

Counselling

Wide Bay Social Work Services offers counselling support from an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.   Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are registered providers with Medicare. 

Wide Bay Social Work Services can help with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, relationship problems, life crisis, adjustment issues, grief and loss, family and work conflicts, trauma, psychosis and personality disorders, stress, self-esteem, phobias, addictions and school and workplace issues. 

Our Accredited Mental Health Social Worker will draw on a range of interventions to assist with the above including cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural and cognitive interventions, relaxation strategies, anger management, problem solving, skills training, social skills, stress management, narrative therapy, parenting skills, motivational interviewing and interpersonal therapy.
