Farnorha Residential Aged Care is located in a quiet pocket of Westcourt in beautiful tropical Cairns. The thriving North Queensland region is home to some of the world’s greatest natural attractions, including the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest. Farnorha’s residential aged care services are delivered in a modern, welcoming setting. Bolton Clarke understands how important it is for you to feel at home so we make sure our bedrooms and shared spaces are designed to maximise your comfort. This includes the selection of contemporary décor and well-appointed bedroom furnishings and fittings. Your accommodation rate includes a fresh, tasty and nutritionally balanced meal service of breakfast, morning tea, 2 course lunch, afternoon tea and supper. The menu changes daily, on a four-week rotational basis. Our services include dementia care; respite care; a registered nurse on duty 24 hours; visiting GP and allied health professionals; and a village bus service and outings. Farnorha’s residents are encouraged to take advantage of the indoor and outdoor spaces available for relaxation and socialising. The carefully landscaped village enjoys views over the stunning Atherton Tablelands which provides an inspiring backdrop to the residents’ lounge. Regular social events and activities include concerts and entertainment, games, arts and crafts, BBQs, indoor bowls and Happy Hour. All residents require an assessment prior to admission to Farnorha Residential Aged Care.
