Cairns Paediatrics provides occupational therapy for children and parent support in the following areas: Autism Spectrum Disorder Developmental delay Sensory Processing Toileting issues Behaviour support Handwriting skills Play skills School readiness Your therapist will work closely with you as parents to help with understanding and managing developmental challenges. Our philosophy is that it is what happens between therapy sessions that facilitates your child's progress.? Our model involves a high level of parent engagement. You do not need a doctor's referral to make an appointment but you may wish to discuss with your GP or Paediatrician whether you are eligible for Medicare rebates for occupational therapy services. Cairns Paediatrics is an approved Early Intervention Service Provider for Helping Children with Autism and Better Start.
