About Us

UnitingCare Queensland provides health and community services to thousands of people every day of the year through its service groups. We provide many important services to Queenslanders within key service areas of crisis support, child and family wellbeing, health and disability support. Service hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Family Support Service and Child & Adolescent counselling offer counselling for children aged 5 to 18 and parenting support to their families including various parenting programs.

Birch Street Community Hub assists individuals and families in the Cairns area with information and referrals and provides group activities. This service can be accessed via phone or drop-in.

Foster and Kinship Care. There are many children in care who desperately need the stability and warmth a home like yours can bring. If you are interested in fostering a child short term, long term, or even respite, please contact us and make a difference to the life of a child today. Phone: 1300 096 209.

Lifeline Telephone Crisis Support  Lifeline runs a National 24 hour, 7 day-a-week crisis support line 13 11 14, operated by trained volunteers. UnitingCare Queensland operates Lifeline services in Queensland.
